"I had always dreamed of having an elaborate wedding with all of my friends and family. But when the pandemic hit, my husband and I were forced to scale back our plans and have a small, intimate nikah ceremony instead.

At first, I was devastated. I had spent so much time planning every detail of my dream wedding, and it felt like everything was falling apart. But as the days went by, I realized that this was Allah(swt)'s will and an opportunity to do something truly unique for my big day. I’m a graphic designer with a passion for Islamic art, so I decided to design my own marriage certificate for the ceremony. It wasn't easy - I spent countless hours sketching out ideas and experimenting with different designs.

But eventually, I came up with the perfect design - a beautiful, elegant document that featured intricate calligraphy and a delicate floral border. On the day of the ceremony, my husband and I got married in front of a small group of family and friends, with our custom-designed marriage certificate displayed for all to see.

I remember the feeling of signing our own special Nikah certificate. It was a moment filled with so much happiness and we knew that no matter what challenges we faced, we would always have each other. That night, my husband and I decided that we wanted other couples to feel that same overwhelming joy. And with that, Raeesa Studio was born.

Since then, we've created Nikah contracts that commemorate the beautiful love stories of thousands of extraordinary marriages.
